By the end of this course, you’ll be able to…

  • Explain market demand and where it comes from.
  • Explain market supply and where it comes from.
  • Discuss market equilibrium, the conditions under which markets are efficient, and examples of market distortions.
  • Describe the basic tools of finance, including present value, risk aversion, risk diversification, and efficient market hypothesis.
  • Communicate the key elements of behavioural economics and finance, prospect theory and myopic loss aversion.
