What will I study?

On this online short course, you’ll study the organisation of and approaches to projects.

You’ll also:

  • train in a number of strategies and frameworks you can use to plan and execute successful projects
  • explore different project management methods, including traditional and agile
  • apply your learning to real-life scenarios and reflect on your own personal experience and skills.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to…

  • Explain how projects are defined and the project life cycle.
  • Recognise the common problems associated with managing projects.
  • Describe the elements of planning.
  • Develop a plan and resource profile for a project.
  • Discuss the impact of, and different approaches to, risk management.
  • Communicate the importance of, and the process for, reporting progress during the project.
